The Turkish ferry company Turyol was founded in 1993 operating routes from Cesme and Ayvalik to the Greek islands of Chios and Lesvos.
Turyol transports forty thousand passengers daily to Lesvos with a fleet of sixty ships, each measuring forty-two meters in length and powered by two engines. Passengers can only enjoy the fresh Aegean air and the endless blue Aegean sea.
