Grandi Navi Veloci
The port of Genoa is the largest and busiest port in Italy witha coastline of about 22 kilometers. It is advised to arrive at least two hours before your scheduled departure time due to the complexity of the port. It is located near the city center and easily accessible by public transportation. The Genoa central railway station and Christopher Columbus Airport are both only about 5 km away. You can get to the port of Genoa by car, metro or bus. From Genoa's train station (Piazza Principe), the bus can take you to the port's piers. Should you arrive by car from the A12 highway, take the Genova Est or Genova Nervi exits. If you get to the port from the A10 (‘Autostrada dei Fiori’), A7 (Milan-Genoa) and A26 (Alessandria-Genoa) highways, take the Genoa Ovest exit and then follow the signs leading to the Genoa port.
As the port can be quite busy, finding a parking spot might be difficult. As a result, we advise you to use one of the paid parking options that are available relatively close to the port. The cost of different parking lots vary based mainly on the distance from the terminal and the services offered.
