Rhodes and the Dodecanese in general are connected
to the port of Piraeus. From Rhodes you can also visit
the nearby Dodecanese islands, the Cycladic islands
and Crete through other ports.

Your trip to Rhodes can be with a conventional ferry
boat or Highspeed depending on the day, the time
and the ferry company you wish to travel with.

If you select to visit Rhodes with the conventional
ferry your trip will take about 15-17 hours while with
a Highspeed ferry 11-13 hours depending on how
many ports the ferry will call at on the way.

Ferries from Piraeus to Rhodes run all year round
on a daily basis. In summer of course there are more departures to choose from.

RHODES > BEACHES

Lindos

Lindos is situated at a distance of 50 kilometres from the capital. The landscape is unique and you can select between the sandy beaches and the steep beaches surrounded by rocks, depending on your preferences. It is a calm bay and is asuitable place for a family vacation.

Faliraki

Faliraki lies on the north-eastern part of Rhodes, 14 kilometres from the capital of the island.

The Beach of Faliraki is made up of golden sand that extends over 4 kilometres and provides sun beds, umbrellas, many water sports, taverns, restaurants and beach bars.

Ixia

Ixia is one of the most popular and cosmopolitan tourist resorts in Rhodes and the haven of Iallisos’ municipal, where it belongs administratively.

Along the coastal road we meet the biggest and most modern hotel units that host thousands of visitors all year around.

At the endless beach of Ixia with the crystal clear waters and golden beach you can enjoy your swim and practice your favourite water sports. It is a cosmopolitan, crowded beach, which thanks to its good organization offers bathers many options. In Ixia windsurfing competitions are also organised.. Nightlife satisfies all tastes.

Vlycha

The picturesque Vlycha Beach, within easy reach of the historic town of Lindos, features everything you would expect of an idyllic beach: warm sand, crystal clear blue waters, plenty of sun beds and umbrellas and canteens serving cool dinks and great tasting snacks.

If water sports are what you are after, Vlycha has a good variety to choose from; everything from banana boat rides to snorkelling.

Afantou

This beach is 22 kilometres south-east of the City of Rhodes. The beach is made up of sand and pebbles and does not have any facilities or rentals which make it less crowded than other beaches.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

From today, August 13, 2020 a new decree by the Italian Minister of Health has come into force providing the following alternative measures which apply to people entering Italy after staying in, or transiting from Croatia, Malta, Greece or Spain in the last 14 days:

a. Obligation to present a certificate showing a negative result of a swab, done within the 72 hours prior to entry in Italy.

or

b. Obligation to undergo a molecular or antigen test carried out through a swab upon arrival at the Italian airport, port or border place, where possible; or carried out, within 48 hours from entering the Italian territory, at the competent Italian National Public Health clinic. In this latter case, while waiting for the examination test, people are due to wait in fiduciary isolation at their place of residence or dwelling.

All people, regardless of symptoms, entering Italy from the above mentioned countries are due to immediately inform the Prevention Department of the competent Italian National Health office about their arrival. In the event of outbreaks of symptoms of Covid 19, the obligation of immediate information to Italian Health Authority (through the relevant phone number) as well as of self-isolation remain into force.
