The isolated beach of Kalami protected by rocks on either side and is located close to the village of Mylopotamos. Access is difficult as there are no signs to it, but ideal for relaxation away from crowds.

The sand and pebble beach of Lykodimou is located in the north part of the island. It has a cave opening right on the beach and famed for beautiful sunsets.
The beach of Diakofto is located beside the harbour. The beach has fine white sand and shallow clear water.
Between the settlements of Skandeka and Avlemonas is the beach of Paleopolis that is the largest on the island, a golden sandy beach with crystal clear waters. According to legend the goddess Aphrodite/Venus emerged from these waters.
Melidoni is a small isolated beach located close to the village of Drymonas, The fine pebble beach is in a small cove.
The beach at Agia Pelagia is located close to the village of the same name. The beach has fine sand and crystal clear waters.
There are two beach with the name of Fyri Ammos, one is in the south east near the village of Kalamou with reddish sand and multicoloured pebbles. The second is in the north east close to the village of Agia Pelagia. The beach has dark red pebbles.
