This lovely whitewashed chapel is located at the end of the main road to Kalymnos and is worth seeing for its traditional island architecture and its fine whitewashed bell-tower with its blue rounded dome.
This monastery stands on a hill near Pothia and is dedicated to the patron saint of the island.
It offers a superb view over the island and has a magnificent bell-tower with four storeys, a cross-shaped main church with round domes and lovely white washed chapels.
Perched on the top of a hill, this beautiful monastery overlooks the capital of the island, Pothia.
One of the lovely chapels of the monastery houses the tomb of Saint Savvas. Many locals believe that he has healing powers. Nuns still reside in the old part of the monastery.
The new church of the monastery and its fine bell-tower offer a magnificent panoramic view over the island.
