In its three rooms are exhibited discoveries of the neoclassical, Hellenistic and Roman periods. The most interesting collection is that of the Early Cycladic discoveries from the Halandriani, the Kastri areas and from other Cycladic islands. Of particular interest is the black granite Egyptian statue of the priest, Anhapi, and is dated from the 730 BC, 22nd dynasty.
The Industrial Museum is housed in the three buildings that have been donated by the Municipality of Ermoupolis and these are: The Hromatourgeio Katsimanti, the Skagiopoieio Anerousis and the Kornilaki Tannery.
The collection of machinery in the industrial museum includes about 300 objects of the 19th and 20 centuries. In this Museum one can see a unique collection of equipment for tanning, machinery, textiles, typography, shipbuilding, doughnut production, food packing etc.
