Ships and Ferries to Paros - Cycladic Islands.
Paros and the Cyclades in general are connected
to the ports of Piraeus and Rafina. From Paros
you can also visit the nearby Cycladic islands of
Ios, Santorini, Kimolos, Naxos.
In addition, there are ferry connection from Paros
ferry to the islands of Crete, Rhodes, and basically all Dodecanese and East Aegean Islands via a third island.
Your trip to Paros can be with a conventional ferry boat, by Highspeed or Flying dolphin depending on
the day, the time and the ferry company you wish
to travel with.
If you select to visit Paros with the conventional
ferry your trip will take about 5-7 hours while with
a Highspeed ferry 3.5-4.5 hours depending on how
many ports the ferry will call at on the way.

The Archaeological Museum of Paros is located in Paroikia. Through the exhibits unfolds the history of the island, from the neoclassical period up to the prehistoric years. Its collection which is housed in three rooms includes: 1) Sculptures from the ancient and classical period 2) Discoveries of neoclassical, early Cycladic, Mycenaean, geometric, ancient, classical, Hellenic and Roman.
Some of the more important exhibits of the Museum are: the statue of Victory, 5th century BC, the statue of Gorgous, 6th century BC, the colossal statue of the goddess Artemis from Dilio, 5th century BC and a small selection of the Pario Times, a marble engraving from the 3rd century BC which includes 134 verses of chronological reports that cover a period of 1,318 years -1528 BC - 263 BC.
The Byzantine Museum of Paros exhibits a small selection of the heirlooms of the Ekatondapylianis. In the first room are mainly pictures, in the small chapel carved wood and in the third room are vestments, buckles, other ecclesiastical heirlooms and the carved wooden epitaph of Ekatondapylianis. In the two smaller rooms, in special showcases, are silver items. The remaining collection of heirlooms is kept in a ‘cell’ in part of the museum.
It is a small, but very interesting museum that is located in Naoussa exhibiting the most beautiful aspects of the Greek, but also Paros culture and traditional costumes.
The museum exhibits male and feminine costumes from various regions of Hellenism and from Paros, objects of daily use and old photographs. The Folklore Collection is open from May to September.
