Ships and Ferries to Mykonos - Cycladic Islands.
Mykonos and the Cyclades in general are connected
to the ports of Piraeus and Rafina. From Mykonos
you can also visit the nearby Cycladic islands of
Ios, Santorini, Paros, Naxos etc.
In addition, there are ferry connection from Mykonos
ferry to the islands of Crete, Rhodes, and basically all Dodecanese and East Aegean Islands via a third island.
Your trip to Mykonos can be with a conventional
ferry boat, by Highspeed or Flying dolphin depending
on the day, the time and the ferry company you wish
to travel with.
If you select to visit Mykonos with the conventional
ferry your trip will take about 5-7.5 hours while with
a Highspeed ferry 3.5-4.5 hours depending on how
many ports the ferry will call at on the way.

The beach of Agios Ioannis is located in the south-western part of the island a short distance from Hora. It is a beautiful beach with white sand and is the ideal choice for families. The beach of Agios Sostis is located in the north of the island. It is a lovely quiet beach ideal swimming and surfing. There are hotels and restaurants in this area.
Agrari is located in the south of the island, next to the beach of Elia and 10 km from Hora. The ideal choice for those preferring quiet, isolated beaches. Access to the beach is by bus, car as well as by boat from Platis Gialos.
The beach of Kalafatis is considered one of the most beautiful on Mykonos. It is a golden sandy beach with clean waters within a lovely landscape on the eastern side of the island. A well-organised beach offers bathers all comforts and is considered the ideal choice for wind-surfing enthusiasts.
The picturesque settlement of Ornos is located on the southern tip of the island 2 km from Hora and is a popular tourist resort. It has a lovely clean beach, with the beach of Psarou close by with the possibility for water sports. The settlement has hotels and rooms for rent as well as many restaurants.
The beach of Paragkas is located in the south of the island, just 10 mins from Hora. It is a picturesque beach with crystal clear waters. Access to the beach is by bus or by boat from Platis Gialos.
It is one of the busiest and most popular beaches on Mykonos, after being discovered by the hippies. On the beach are beach bars, a diving centre and a disco. There is the possibility for water sports. Access to the beach is easy as there is a regular bus service. Near the beach is a hotel and a large campsite.
Platis Gialos is a coastal settlement located on the southern side of the island 4.5 km from Hora. It is the ideal choice for families and the starting point for boats to the famous neighbouring beaches of the island, Paradise and Super Paradise. It is an immense golden sandy beach and aquamarine waters.
Super Paradise is the most well-known beach on the island. It is ideal for the younger visitors because of the many parties that are organised there. After the 1950s it was established as a meeting place for VIPs. Access to the beach is only by private transportation or by boat from Platis Gialos.
This is a northern beach at Panormo Bay that attracts wind-surfers due to the ideal winds and currents. It is a relatively quiet beach which can only be accessed by private transportation.
The beach of Psarou is on the south-west part of the island, approx 10’ from Chora. It is extremely popular and well-organized. There is a diving school and the area is full of hotels and restaurants.
